•Role Overview•

Epragathi is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting key financial processes including GST filings and TDS returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records and files in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and handle all bank-related operations.

• Manage and organize financial documentation efficiently.

• Prepare and file GST returns in a timely and accurate manner.

• Handle TDS deductions, and returns as per statutory norms.

• Assist with financial reporting, taxation, and other ad-hoc finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.

• Experience of GST Filing TDS Return, bank reconciliations  and other statutory compliances.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with Google Docs is a plus.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently with a proactive problem-solving approach, while also being an effective team player.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
