Accountant

Company Overview:

Cotton Culture is a growing ethnic menswear retail brand based in Surat, specializing in premium cotton kurtas and traditional men’s fashion. We are now expanding our team and looking for a skilled accountant to manage our daily finance operations and support our offline and online retail growth.

📝 Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally ERP or equivalent software

• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and basic compliance

• Handle purchase & sales entries, expense tracking, and petty cash

• Coordinate with vendors and maintain payable/receivable accounts

• Assist in preparing monthly profit & loss reports

• Maintain inventory and invoice records (especially garment-related entries)

• Reconcile bank statements and handle payments

✅ Requirements:

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent accounting qualification

• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience

• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and basic financial documentation

• Knowledge of GST filing, invoicing & reconciliation

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

🎯 Preferred Skills:

• Experience in retail, textile, or garment industry

• Familiarity with inventory-based businesses

• Basic understanding of e-commerce transactions (bonus)
