Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to manage and oversee our financial accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency in managing financial records and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Manage and oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and variance analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax filings and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial controls and efficiency.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure the provision of necessary documentation.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and support.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, including experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in TALLY and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Experience with financial audits and compliance is highly desirable.
