Accounts Payable (AP):
Process and manage incoming invoices and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Review and verify the accuracy of invoice details (amounts, terms, coding).
Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payments and billing issues.
Assist with month-end closing procedures, including AP-related accruals and journal entries.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Process incoming payments and apply them to appropriate customer accounts.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with customers on outstanding balances.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and send out customer statements, invoices, and reminders.
Assist with the generation of AR reports for management review.
Excel & Reporting:
Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIF, etc.) to maintain, analyze, and report on financial data.
Create and update financial reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Assist in preparing financial statements and ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
Automate routine financial tasks and reporting processes using Excel formulas, macros, and other tools.
Maintain databases and spreadsheets for financial data tracking.
