ob Summary:
Opus Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory tax filings in compliance with Indian tax regulations.

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.

• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.

• Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.

• Process payroll and ensure timely salary disbursements.

• Maintain financial documentation and reports for management review.

• Assist in financial decision-making by providing accurate and timely reports.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar ERP).

• Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling financial operations in the manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control methods.

• Familiarity with banking processes and financial risk management.
