You will be involved in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial insights for decision-making, including tasks like inventory management, tax compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Accurately record and maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries in tally.
Prepare and reconcile financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
Maintain accurate inventory records and track inventory movements.
Matching ledgers of creditors and debtors.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and file tax returns (corporate, income, etc.).
GST Calculation and matching with 2 B
Monitor and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Internal Controls and Audits:
Implement and maintain strong internal controls over financial processes.
Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Pharma-Specific Tasks:
Track and manage costs associated with research and development (R&D).
Monitor and Analyze revenue from product sales, including sell-in and sell-through data.
Manage inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and guidelines.
Other:
Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
Support payroll processes and perform account reconciliations.
Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
Coordinate with field for payment collection.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
Relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
Ability to Analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work accurately and maintain detailed records.
Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and its unique financial challenges.
