Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee financial records and operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with financial regulations, manage cost accounting, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including BOM, labor, overhead, and variances.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).

• Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform periodic reconciliations.

• Assist in ERP implementation or updates (if applicable).

• Support management with financial insights for strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/Inter CA/MBA Finance preferred).

• 2–5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.).

• Proficient in MS Excel and other financial tools.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma (a plus).

• Experience with stock audits and physical inventory checks.

• Exposure to import/export transactions and foreign currency accounting.
