Job Overview:
Ubitech Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Executive for its Chennai location. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in the overall financial health of the company. The role requires expertise in managing accounts, financial reporting, and budgeting, ensuring the companys financial operations are efficient and accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including handling of general ledger entries, invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Bookkeeping: Ensure that all financial records are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
Tax Compliance: Oversee GST, TDS, and other tax filings, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoicing, vendor payments, and customer collections to maintain a smooth cash flow.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the finance team in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, tracking performance against budgets.
Audit Support: Coordinate with external and internal auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
Banking & Reconciliation: Handle banking transactions, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure proper cash management.
MIS Reporting: Prepare management information reports (MIS) on a regular basis to provide insights into the financial performance of the company.
Expense Monitoring: Review and monitor company expenses to ensure cost control and efficiency.
Compliance & Statutory Filings: Ensure all statutory filings are done in a timely and accurate manner as per Indian accounting standards and regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and ensure smooth financial operations across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/CMA preferred).
Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role of leadership.
Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
Experience with financial reporting, MIS reporting, and audit preparation.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
