Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Admin Accountant to manage financial records and documentation for our bank operations. This role involves maintaining accurate financial data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and handling various documentation tasks to support internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Maintenance: Accurately record financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan disbursements, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
Documentation Management: Handle internal and external communication, process customer transactions, and resolve discrepancies. Maintain confidentiality of banking information.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and cash accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
Statutory Compliance: Manage statutory deductions, payments, returns, GST, TDS and audits.
MIS Reporting: Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports in desired formats to support decision-making processes.
Document Handling: Manage filing and handling of all legal documents, contracts, and other official documents. Track Subscription and ensure proper documentation flow within the organization.
Collaboration: Coordinate with auditors and other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate in B.Com, BAF, or related field.
Experience: 1–3 years in back-office accounting or documentation roles, preferably in banking or financial institutions.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and banking regulations.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
