Job Profile/Responsibility (Brief Description)
The position is responsible to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments andvariable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position,liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all taxregulations.
Detailed Description:
Post and process sales, purchase, bank and journal entries to ensure allbusiness transactions are recorded Update accounts receivable and issue invoices Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financialstatements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate andimmediately available when needed Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings Assist with other accounting projects Skills Required: Proven experience as an accountant Excellent organizing abilities Great attention to detail Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles andpractices Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
