Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Supervise the processing of accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate payment and invoicing.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making, identifying key drivers of financial performance.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
Tax Compliance:
Assist with preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filing of local, state, and federal taxes.
Maintain knowledge of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Audit Support:
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications as required.
Prepare schedules and workpapers for audit processes and assist in resolving audit queries.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Assist in workflow management and prioritization to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Process Improvement:
Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices in accounting functions and continuously improve financial reporting systems.
