Job Description

Job Overview

The AIF Concurrent Auditor will be responsible for performing concurrent auditing of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, financial accuracy, and adherence to internal controls. The role involves continuous monitoring and auditing of fund operations, with a focus on risk management, internal audits, and reporting to ensure that financial transactions and statements align with legal standards and best practices.

Primary Responsibility:

·         Audit planning & execution in a team culture

·         Conduct NAV audit for AIF funds on a daily basis / Monthly basis

·         Verification of Bank reconciliation, Stock holdings recon, trade file recons, etc.

·         Verification of EOD reports

·         Verification of Daily accrual expenses and income  

·         Verification of redemption pay-out calculations  

·         Verification of allotments & redemptions of units

·         Compliance monitoring

Skill Set Required: -  

·         Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

·         Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy

·         Good communication skills for preparing reports and liaising with stakeholders

·         Proficient in auditing software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or higher or any related field

• CA Background and working in a CA firms in past will add value to job

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in auditing, specifically in the financial services or investment management sector. Experience with AIFs is highly preferred

SALARY RANGE

• Totally depends on your last salary , experience and interview.

JOB LOCATION

• Lower Parel (Client Location) initially

• Alternatively, could be at KDP office – Ghatkopar (E)

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
