Credit Officer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Manager to oversee the company’s lending process, evaluate creditworthiness, and manage the credit approval and collections process. The Credit Manager will be responsible for ensuring sound credit decisions that align with our risk policies and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.

• Assess the creditworthiness of potential customers through financial analysis and risk assessment.

• Approve or reject loan/credit applications based on company policies.

• Monitor outstanding balances and manage collections efforts.

• Set credit limits and terms based on customer profiles and market conditions.

• Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to manage credit exposure.

• Prepare and present credit reports to management.

• Identify potential risks and recommend actions to minimize credit losses.

• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, legal regulations, and best practices related to credit.

• Manage and mentor a team of credit analysts (if applicable).
