Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation:
Actively approach customers on the shop floor, present products, and close sales to meet individual and team sales targets.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting customers with product selection.
Relationship Building:
Establish rapport with customers, understand their needs, and build loyalty through personalized interactions.
Product Knowledge:
Gain in-depth knowledge of all products sold in the shop, including features, benefits, and pricing to effectively answer customer questions.
Visual Merchandising:
Assist in maintaining visually appealing displays and product organization on the shop floor.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, identify potential stock shortages, and communicate inventory needs to management.
Promotional Activities:
Participate in in-store promotions, special events, and marketing initiatives to drive sales.
Sales Reporting:
Track sales performance, generate reports on sales trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Cash Handling:
Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash, and follow cash register procedures.
Required Skills:
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to engage customers and effectively present products.
Salesmanship: Proven ability to close sales, overcome objections, and negotiate effectively
Customer Focus: Genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and building relationships
Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn about product features, benefits, and applications
Retail Experience: Prior experience in a retail sales environment preferred
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve team sales goals
