Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure the accuracy of financial data and identify any discrepancies.
General Ledger Management:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Ensure proper and timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts.
Post journal entries and manage account reconciliations.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Review and approve vendor invoices and payments.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure adherence to tax laws.
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist with the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures.
Provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
Team Leadership and Development:

Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance and mentorship.
Assist with training new employees and promote best practices within the accounting team.
Other Duties:

Continuously improve accounting processes and systems.
Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
