Job Description: GST Compliance Executive

Job Summary:

The GST Compliance Executive will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate GST compliance, including filing returns, managing tax audits, and handling GST-related queries. The role requires expertise in GST laws, financial reporting, and coordination with clients and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

GST Filings & Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) accurately and on time.

Tax Reconciliations: Perform GST reconciliations, including matching GSTR-2A/2B with purchase registers.

Input Tax Credit (ITC) Management: Ensure proper ITC claims and compliance with GST rules.

GST Audits & Assessments: Assist in GST audits, assessments, and responding to tax notices.

Record Maintenance: Maintain proper documentation and records for GST compliance and audits.

Advisory & Support: Provide GST-related guidance to clients and internal teams.

Coordination with Tax Authorities: Handle queries from GST authorities and ensure smooth communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or related field.

1-3 years of experience in GST compliance, taxation, or accounts.

Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and filing procedures.

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, or ERP systems).

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
