Job Description

Prepare high quality, innovative and functional design
Go on site visits to meet clients
Source raw materials and products

uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to create technical drawings for mechanical equipment, tools, and other engineering projects:
Design: Create detailed designs for mechanical equipment, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information
Draw: Use CAD software to create schematics, orthographic, or angle views
Collaborate: Work with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications
Communicate: Explain concepts to manufacturers and seek clarity from engineers and project managers
Update: Update existing drawings as new information becomes available
Store: Create and store drawings electronically on a CAD server
Share: Organize and upload drawings to web-based storage sites or collaboration project sites
Document: Write related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates
