Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager – Store Construction to oversee the construction and setup of retail stores. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing store construction projects while ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for new store construction.
Site Supervision: Oversee daily on-site activities, ensuring that construction progresses as per the design and specifications.
Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality work and timely delivery.
Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project expenses and ensure all costs align with the approved budget.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
Procurement & Resource Management: Oversee material procurement, inventory management, and workforce allocation.
Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify and address potential construction issues, ensuring minimal project delays.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to management and ensure all approvals are in place before project completion.
Final Inspection & Handover: Ensure the store is ready for operation by conducting quality checks and obtaining necessary certifications.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
3 to 4 years of experience in retail store or commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
