Accurately input and maintain data in our database systems, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents and update existing data as necessary.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
Assist in generating reports and maintaining accurate records of data entry activities.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies and support data-related projects.
Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy; knowledge of touch typing is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
Good command of English, both oral and written.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Experience with database management systems.
Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.
