Job Title: Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu Audio to Text Transcriptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Audio to Text Transcriptionist proficient in Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu to convert audio recordings into accurate text. The ideal candidate should have excellent language skills, strong listening abilities, and a fast typing speed to ensure high-quality transcription.

Key Responsibilities:

• Listen to Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu audio recordings and transcribe them into written text.

• Ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation while transcribing.

• Identify and differentiate multiple speakers in conversations.

• Research and understand regional phrases, dialects, and industry-specific terms if needed.

• Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity and correctness.

• Work with AI-based transcription tools and manually refine results.

• Adhere to confidentiality policies and company guidelines.

• Meet deadlines for assigned transcription projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu (reading, writing, and listening).

• Strong command over grammar, spelling, and punctuation in all three languages.

• Fast and accurate typing speed (preferably 60+ WPM).

• Experience using transcription software like Express Scribe, Otter.ai, Descript, or other tools.

• Ability to understand different dialects, accents, and background noises.

• Attention to detail and excellent listening skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in transcription, translation, or subtitling.

• Experience in medical, legal, or media transcription is a plus.

• Knowledge of additional Indian languages is a bonus.

Salary:

• Based on experience and per-minute/hourly transcription rate.
