Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Document Verification Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of documents submitted by clients, employees, or vendors. Your primary goal will be to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:Review and verify documents for authenticity and completenessCross-check data across different documents to ensure consistencyIdentify forged, expired, or fraudulent documentsMaintain accurate records of all verified documentationCommunicate with clients/customers/vendors for missing or unclear informationCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth onboarding or transaction processesEnsure compliance with internal policies and legal/regulatory standardsPrepare regular reports on document verification outcomesFlag and escalate any discrepancies or red flags to the appropriate teamHandle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretionRequired Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)Prior experience in document verification, data entry, or compliance roles is a plusExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data management systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of KYC, AML, or other regulatory frameworks (preferred)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with digital document verification tools and platformsFamiliarity with industry-specific documentation (e.g., finance, healthcare, education)Multilingual abilities are a plusWorking Conditions:Office-based or remote, depending on company policyMay require working in shifts or extended hours to meet deadlines
