Job Title: Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Data Entry:
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, and expense reports.
Invoice Processing:
Generate, verify, and process client invoices, as well as vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Reconciliation:
Perform bank reconciliations, and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy in financial data.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support project and departmental planning.
Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes; assist in filing monthly/quarterly tax returns.
Payroll Support:
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring correct deductions and payments in alignment with HR policies.
Financial Reporting:
Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports for management review.
Audit Support:
Help in coordinating with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation during audits.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in media, entertainment, or production houses.
Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS compliance.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
