Job Title: General Purchase Executive
The General Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for the company’s operations. The role involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining quality standards while complying with company policies and procurement regulations.
1. Procurement Process:
o Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
o Request quotations, compare bids, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
o Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approvals.
o Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
2. Vendor Management:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
o Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delays.
o Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and recommend improvements.
3. Inventory & Cost Control:
o Work with internal teams to determine purchasing needs and maintain optimal stock levels.
o Analyze costs and seek opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
o Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
4. Compliance & Reporting:
o Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
o Prepare reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance.
o Support audits and address any procurement-related queries.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· 2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
· Knowledge of supply chain management and vendor management best practices.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
