Role: Purchase Executive

Shift: 10-6[6 Days]

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors.

Request quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules

Issue purchase orders and track their progress.

Vendor Management:

Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery time.

Resolve any vendor disputes and ensure compliance with company policies.

Inventory & Stock Management:

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse/production team to ensure timely procurement.

Minimize overstocking and stock shortages through efficient planning.

Cost Optimization & Budgeting:

Work within the allocated budget and seek cost-effective procurement strategies.

Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.

Ensure compliance with company policies, GST, and other relevant regulations.

Coordination with Internal Teams:

Work closely with production, finance, and logistics teams to align purchasing with operational needs.

Address and resolve any procurement-related issues promptly.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.

Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP, Tally, or other procurement software.

Ability to analyze market trends and supplier offerings.

Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
