ob Title: Cashier (Bank Teller)
Location: Kagaria, Bihar.
Department: Customer Service
Reports To: Branch Manager
Industry: Banking & Finance sector.
CTC: up to 2lacs per annum
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Transactions:
o Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and transfers accurately and efficiently.
o Cash checks, issue bank drafts, and exchange foreign currency.
o Provide customers with updated account balances and detailed transaction records.
o Assist customers with routine inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department for more complex issues.
2. Cash Handling:
o Maintain accurate cash drawer and ensure proper cash reconciliation at the beginning and end of each shift.
o Handle large sums of money and ensure all transactions comply with banking regulations and internal policies.
3. Customer Service:
o Provide high-level customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and friendly manner.
o Assist in opening new accounts and explain basic banking services.
o Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs.
4. Compliance & Security:
o Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML).
o Report any discrepancies, fraud, or suspicious activities immediately to supervisors.
o Ensure compliance with cash-handling and security protocols to protect both customers and the bank.
5. Administrative Duties:
o Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
o Prepare cash transaction reports for audit purposes.
6. Other Duties:
o Assist with branch promotions and campaigns to increase customer engagement.
o Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving branch goals.
Qualifications:
• Education: Any Graduation
• Gender: Male / Female
• Age: Maximum 28 year.
• Experience: 0 to 1 year (Apply Fresher candidate.)
• Skills:
o Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Basic math and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
o Familiarity with banking software and cash-handling systems is a plus.
o Good command in MS-office (Excel -V lookup, H lookup, Pivot formulas good command, etc.)
