We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team at 38 Barracks. As the first point of contact for many customers, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include handling financial transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operations at the cash counter.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
Process customer orders efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Accurately handle cash, credit, and digital payment transactions.
Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
Answer customer inquiries about the menu, promotions, and restaurant services.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Address and resolve any customer complaints or escalate issues to the manager.
Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Follow all company policies, including cash handling and security procedures.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
