Job Description
- Cook different dishes following recipes.
- Plan and arrange menu items.
- Keep track of kitchen supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a love for preparing delicious meals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes meet or exceed expectations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the kitchen manager or supervisor.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food.
Assist in the development of new menu items and recipes, if needed.
Perform other kitchen duties, such as chopping, plating, or preparing ingredients, as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant, café, or catering environment.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines (specify if a particular cuisine is preferred).
Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
