Field Support Engineer

Job Title: FTTH Field Engineer

Location: Navi Mumbai.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience Level: at least 1 year experience in Telecom/FTTH Projects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to oversee the end-to-end deployment of Fiber-to-the-Home networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning an executing FTTH projects, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define network design, survey requirements, and feasibility analysis.

- Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors for smooth execution.

- Network Deployment & Operations

Oversee fiber rollout, OLT (Optical Line Terminal) installation, Fibre Splicing and ONT (Optical Network Terminal) provisioning.

- Monitor network quality, signal strength, and performance.

- Ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines.

- Provide regular project status updates to senior management.

- Address operational challenges and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain documentation and compliance reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in FTTH network planning, deployment, and operations.

Strong understanding of GPON, EPON, and fiber network architecture.

Experience with GIS mapping, survey tools, and network design software.

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for telecom infrastructure
