Responsibility:
Responsible for overall business development Freight forwarding Air and Sea.
Generation of Inbound and Outbound air and sea cargo from various origins and different destinations.
Meeting new and existing clients in designated area, understanding their logistics needs and then provide a complete cost- effective solution of their requirements.
Support sales team in business growth by regularly visiting existing and new customers and targeting their cross functional business.
Monthly/Quarterly reviews with customer to gain confidence/ volumes.
Coordination with sales support staff and customer -support departments to ensure best of the services to the customers.
To ensure timely collection of payments from the customers.
Ensure all the billing files are timely shared with Accounts team and support in collection of overdue o/s payments by following up with customers.
Act as front end to all the customer issues and ensure regular operational support for all the business handled.
Generate MIS as per the business need for the customer and Management.
Liaison with overseas office and seeking their support for important customers.
In addition to freight forwarding, selling all other products i.e. Export/Imports (Custom Clearance), warehousing, transport etc.
Qualification/Education & Experience
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: Graduate or MBA in any discipline from an Institution of reputed.
EXPERIENCE: 5 - 10 Years of experience with Freight Forwarding Industry & Logistics.
