We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable IVF Centre Counsellor to join our team and provide emotional and psychological support to our patients.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counselling sessions to patients and their families, addressing emotional and psychological concerns related to fertility treatments.

• Offer support and guidance to patients before, during, and after their fertility treatment process.

• Educate patients about the various aspects of fertility treatment, including the medical procedures, potential outcomes, and emotional impacts.

• Develop personalized coping strategies to help patients manage stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.

• Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions and patient interactions.

• Conduct assessments to identify patients' emotional needs and provide appropriate interventions.

• Facilitate support groups and workshops for patients and their partners.

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in fertility counselling and mental health.

• Advocate for patients' needs and ensure they receive comprehensive care and support throughout their treatment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Licensed or certified counsellor with relevant credentials.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a counselling role, preferably within a healthcare or fertility setting.

• Strong understanding of the emotional and psychological aspects of fertility treatment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in reproductive health or infertility counselling.

• Knowledge of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) and related procedures.
