We are hiring an experienced Store Keeper with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience managing stores for electrical infrastructure projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of GRN, PO, inventory control, invoicing, ERP systems, and electrical materials used in substation erection (33/11kV), HT/LT distribution lines, CT/PT, feeder bays, poles, isolators, and other transmission/distribution equipment.
Manage day-to-day operations of the electrical store, including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
Prepare and verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) against Purchase Orders (PO) and supplier invoices.
Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP software.
Handle electrical equipment and materials such as CT, PT, isolators, transformers, cables, poles, insulators, breakers, panels, etc.
Coordinate with procurement, project, and accounts teams for material reconciliation, invoice processing, and timely delivery.
Ensure proper stacking, tagging, and storage of materials in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Monitor and report stock levels, and manage minimum and maximum stock thresholds.
Support in material planning for project requirements in substation erection, transmission, and distribution works.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with system data.
Maintain detailed records for audit, compliance, and project documentation.
Assist in commissioning support by ensuring timely availability of materials.
B.E. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
1–2years of experience in storekeeping within electrical infrastructure projects, especially:
33/11kV substation erection and commissioning
HT/LT line works
CT/PT, transformer, isolators, and feeder bay installation
Pole erection, distribution lines
Strong understanding of electrical materials and project components.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, etc.).
Skilled in handling GRN, PO, invoicing, and inventory management modules.
Good command of MS Excel, Word, and documentation tools.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with teams.
Good communication and reporting ability.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
