Electrician

11.2.1.1. Coordination and overall supervision of various electrical jobs related to Motor overhauling, Transformer maintenance, VFD, UPS, Battery charger, various LT & HT switchgear maintenance, portable machine connection, temporary lighting jobs, Battery bank charging-discharging etc. and adhere to safety regulations, SOP/ SMPs. 

11.2.1.2. Involve in "Job safety Hazard analysis" and prepare safety requirements before assigned job. 

11.2.1.3. Shall be capable of troubleshooting techniques for various electrical equipment. 

11.2.1.4. Shall have knowledge of engineering practices and able to interpret engineering drawings, manuals, work instructions, safety instructions, rules, regulations etc. 

11.2.1.5. Capable to develop improved work methods and job standardization in order to eliminate unproductive work and develop optimal interval for performing maintenance work. 

11.2.1.6. Shall report to Electrical Plant EIC. 

11.2.1.7. Discuss job planning and safety hazards with Electrical EICs before job execution and carry out field planning after receiving work permit. 

11.2.1.8. Shall be able to handle team of 10 ~ 15persons consisting of supervisor, technician and helper. 

11.2.1.9. Carry out quality checks of the job as per standard ensuring that filling up all checklist and as per best practices. 

11.2.1.10. Shall have knowledge of international and national codes and standards. 11.2.1.11. Understand hazard of electrical system and job safety compliance. 

11.2.1.12. Aware of electrical area classification and hazardous area electrical equipment use in petrochemical complex.
