Job Title: ITI Electrician – Dairy Industry Job Location: Ranjangaon MIDC- Pune Department: Maintenance / Electrical Job Summary: The ITI Electrician in the dairy industry is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in dairy processing and packaging. The role ensures uninterrupted plant operations by minimizing electrical breakdowns and following safety standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Electrical Maintenance & Repair:Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, panels, and motors.Diagnose and repair electrical faults in dairy processing machines such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, refrigeration units, and packaging equipment.Ensure proper functioning of electrical wiring, switches, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels.Replace or repair defective components like sensors, relays, contactors, and fuses.2. Installation & Troubleshooting:Install new electrical systems, machinery, and wiring as per industry standards.Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues in coordination with the maintenance team.Maintain and calibrate electrical instruments and control systems used in dairy processing.3. Compliance & Safety:Follow all electrical safety regulations and industry standards.Ensure proper earthing and insulation of electrical systems.Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Maintain documentation of electrical maintenance activities.4. Support for Automation & Control Systems:Assist in the maintenance of PLC-based systems and automation in dairy processing.Work with automation engineers to troubleshoot electrical and control system faults.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: ITI in Electrician Trade.Experience: Fresher / 1+ Year ExperienceSkills Required:Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and industrial automation.Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.Experience in handling motors, VFDs, PLCs, and control panels.Basic understanding of refrigeration and boiler systems used in dairy plants.Knowledge of safety protocols and preventive maintenance techniques.Working Conditions:Work in a dairy plant environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.May require working in shifts and handling emergency breakdowns.Salary & Benefits:As per industry standards and company policy.
