Job Description

Plan, develop and create new designs manually or using computer
Give innovative display and merchandising ideas for clients
Have knowledge about computer aided designing tools

The Fashion Designer & Merchandiser will be responsible for :
.
● Work on different methods of styling sarees, blouses and garments (New Venture).
● Work on mood board themes,Design Development,Product development.
● Create sketches and prepare print-ready files.
● Actively Source Vendors & work on Pre-production sample development.
● Work closely with labourers and vendors to oversee the production process and ensure the final product meets quality standards.
Background of Ideal Candidate :
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
● Print Design, Textile Design and Graphic Design skills
● Strong design and conceptual skills; good knowledge of style, colours and fabrics. ● Experience in designing for textiles
● Bachelor's degree in Fashion /Textile Design or related field
● Experience in the Fashion/textile industry is a plus
