We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Sales Manager to drive distributor appointment and development across Southern India. The candidate will be responsible for building strong distribution networks, maintaining leads, expanding into new markets, and actively supporting business growth through strategic planning and CRM management.
Identify, approach, and appoint new distributors across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
Meet existing and prospective distributors regularly to build strong business relationships.
Maintain and manage all distributor leads effectively through CRM tools.
Search, qualify, and follow up with interested distributor prospects.
Develop and implement a local market expansion strategy to open new business opportunities.
Assist in creating region-specific business plans for distributor growth.
Monitor distributor performance and support them in achieving sales targets.
Provide market intelligence, competitor activity reports, and feedback from distributors to management.
Ensure all administrative sales activities are updated and recorded properly (calls, meetings, follow-ups, etc.)
Travel extensively across assigned territories to ensure ground-level execution.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
Good understanding of CRM systems and lead management.
Strong market research and business development abilities.
Self-motivated with a passion for field sales and market expansion.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in channel sales/distributor appointment or B2B sales, preferably in the consumer goods, water treatment, or similar industries.
Willingness to travel extensively across multiple states.
