JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE: Business Development Manager Expertise& skill sets / Key Competency Areas (KCAs) Mandatory skills Desirable skills o Leadership: · Ability to lead a team with extremely strong people management skills o Other department knowledge: · Subject matter expertise in or more focus areas of other departments o Subject Matter Expertise: · Solution expertise for the Distillery process · Knowledge on enzyme technology and applicability in Sugar and Sugar plants · Strong knowledge of benefits of enzyme technology e.g., significantly increased · efficiency in sugar & distillery factory output along with higher quality output o Teamwork and collaboration o Business management expertise: · Good sales abilities as well as customer relationship management and project execution skills. o Bio Manufacturing: · Understanding of overall biotech and manufacturing sector, industry trends and opportunities o Communication: · Good verbal, written and presentation skills · Demonstrated ability to connect and engage with customers, partners and team members on a range of topics · Ability to clearly communicate company’s’ products and benefits to senior management of the customer and engage then to win new business, and / or expand existing business o Strong in creation and handling dealer / distributor network o In-depth knowledge of company products (after training) Educational qualification: · Good in academics · B. Sc / M. Sc (Biochemistry, Sugar Technology) from a reputed university · Management Degree from university / institution of repute Experience: · Overall industry experience of minimum 6-8 years · Specific experience of at least 5-6 years in S & D / enzyme industry with at least 2 years in a leadership role with regards to the above mentioned KRA’s · Any certification / training in Sugar Technology will be an added advantage Desirable experience: · Experience in corporate strategy, developing sales and marketing modules
