Job Description

1. Revenue Growth

Objective: Achieve sales targets and grow the business by increasing the revenue generated through logistics services.

Metrics: Monthly, quarterly, or annual revenue targets, percentage growth in sales, and average deal size.

2. Customer Acquisition

Objective: Secure new clients and expand the company's customer base by identifying potential customers and converting leads.

Metrics: Number of new clients acquired, sales conversion rate, and lead-to-client ratio.

3. Customer Retention & Satisfaction

Objective: Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers by providing excellent service and solving their logistics challenges.

Metrics: Customer retention rate, customer satisfaction score (e.g., NPS), repeat business rate.

4. Market Penetration & Expansion

Objective: Expand into new markets and increase the company’s presence in existing markets.

Metrics: Number of new markets or regions entered, market share growth, number of new service offerings launched.

5. Sales Pipeline Management

Objective: Effectively manage the sales pipeline by generating leads, following up on opportunities, and moving prospects through the sales process.

Metrics: Sales pipeline size, number of opportunities in each sales stage, and sales cycle length.

6. Proposal & Contract Negotiation

Objective: Develop competitive proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with potential clients.

Metrics: Number of proposals sent, deal closure rate, contract negotiation efficiency.

7. Collaboration with Operations & Marketing

Objective: Work closely with operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and targeted marketing strategies.

Metrics: Alignment with marketing campaigns, smooth handovers to operations, and cross-departmental communication effectiveness.

8. Product/Service Knowledge

Objective: Maintain a high level of knowledge about logistics services, industry trends, and competitor offerings to provide tailored solutions to customers.

9. Cost Management

Objective: Ensure profitability by managing the cost of service delivery while maintaining competitive pricing.

10. Reporting & Analysis

Objective: Regularly track and report on sales performance to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
