Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring revenue growth while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve district sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Set and track sales goals for individual team members and the overall district.
- Ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue and performance targets.
Team Leadership & Development
- Train, and mentor sales representatives to enhance their performance.
- Provide regular training and performance evaluations to team members.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through motivation, recognition, and accountability.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Address customer concerns, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with sales representatives to develop customized solutions for clients.
Operational & Financial Management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense management for the district.
- Analyze sales reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other data to drive business decisions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum graduation in any field
- Proven experience as a District Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Industry-Specific Experience, in FMCG only.
- MBA or additional sales certifications are a plus.
