Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Sales and Relationship Building:

  • Promoting and selling life insurance products through bank branches. 

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with bank staff (relationship managers, branch managers). 

  • Identifying and understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions. 

• Financial Planning and Product Knowledge:

  • Having a good understanding of financial products and investment options. 

  • Being knowledgeable about life insurance products, including their features, benefits, and limitations. 

  • Providing guidance and advice to customers on their financial planning needs. 

• Sales and Business Development:

  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall business growth of the insurance company. 

  • Developing and executing sales strategies within the bank's branches. 

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities. 

• Pre and Post-Sales Support:

  • Providing pre-sales support to bank partners, including product training and sales presentations. 

  • Providing post-sales support to customers, including policy servicing, claim handling, and ongoing relationship management. 

Additional Skills and Qualities:

• Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with bank staff and customers. 

• Persuasion and Influence:

  Ability to persuade and influence bank staff and customers to purchase life insurance products. 

• Analytical Skills:

  Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products. 

• Sales Experience:

  Prior sales experience, particularly in the insurance or financial services industry, is highly valued. 

• Teamwork:

  Ability to work effectively as part of a team, including the bank staff and other insurance company personnel.
