Job Title: B2B Sales Executive – Institutional Sales

Location: Kolkata, India

Job Type: Full-time

Reports To: Sales Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Sales Executive to join our institutional sales team in Kolkata. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales through lead generation, nurturing inquiries, and converting them into confirmed orders. You will represent the company in meetings with architects, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), and other key institutional clients, ensuring that the company's products/services are positioned effectively to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

    • Identify and target potential business clients (architects, PMCs, institutions, etc.) for our products and services.

    • Use a variety of methods including cold calls, emails, networking, and attending industry events to generate and qualify leads.

  • Client Meetings & Relationship Building:

    • Conduct meetings with architects, PMCs, and other institutional clients to understand their requirements.

    • Present and demonstrate the company’s offerings in a compelling manner tailored to the client’s needs.

    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to increase repeat business and referrals.

  • Inquiry Handling & Order Conversion:

    • Effectively manage inbound inquiries and engage with potential clients to understand their project requirements.

    • Work with the team to provide detailed and accurate proposals, ensuring timely follow-ups to convert inquiries into confirmed orders.

  • Project Coordination & Follow-up:

    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and requirements are met for institutional clients.

    • Provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project progress.

  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to better serve clients and position the company in the marketplace.

  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

    • Regularly track and report on sales progress, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

    • Ensure sales targets are met and report on outcomes to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. (An MBA is a plus).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on institutional sales.

  • Prior experience working with architects, PMCs, or in industries involving large projects (construction, infrastructure, etc.) is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of successfully generating leads, managing inquiries, and converting them into sales.

  • Strong understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with institutional clients.

  • Ability to understand complex project requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific tools and technologies is a plus.
