Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

    • Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending events or exhibitions.

    • Research and analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities.

  • Sales Presentations & Product Demos:

    • Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients to present product offerings and demonstrate their benefits.

    • Customize product solutions to meet the specific needs and requirements of customers.

  • Sales Negotiation & Closing:

    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to close deals while ensuring profitability for the company.

    • Follow up with leads and prospects to convert opportunities into sales and secure long-term customers.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and support.

    • Address customer concerns and questions, ensuring their needs are met and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Market Analysis & Competitor Research:

    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

    • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments to effectively communicate the value of offerings to clients.

  • Sales Reporting & Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

    • Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager or Regional Sales Director, detailing progress towards sales targets, customer feedback, and market insights.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    • Work closely with the marketing and customer service teams to align on sales strategies and customer satisfaction.

    • Provide feedback to the product team regarding customer preferences and market trends.

  • Travel & Territory Management:

    • Travel within your designated territory to meet with clients, visit prospects, and attend events or conferences.

    • Plan and manage your schedule to maximize sales opportunities and ensure efficient territory coverage.


Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a field sales or direct sales role.

    • Experience with sales in [industry-specific experience, e.g., retail, healthcare, technology, etc.] is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse clients.

    • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.

    • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
