Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our growing team in the water treatment chemical division. The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and managing a sales territory, identifying and qualifying leads, closing deals, and building strong customer relationships within the assigned region. This role requires a strong understanding of water treatment processes and chemical applications, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of sales success.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve assigned sales targets within the designated territory.
Identify and qualify potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
Conduct site surveys and analyze customer water treatment needs to recommend appropriate chemical solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers, ensuring profitability and adherence to company guidelines.
Manage existing customer accounts, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations, including engineers, plant managers, and purchasing personnel.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments in the water treatment chemical field.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using CRM software.
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, marketing, and logistics, to ensure seamless customer service.
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential customers and promote the company's products and services.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Other science or engineering degrees considered with relevant experience.
Proven track record of sales success in the water treatment chemical industry or a related field. Minimum [Number] years of experience preferred.
Strong understanding of water treatment processes, chemical applications, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience selling [Specific types of water treatment chemicals, e.g., coagulants, flocculants, biocides, corrosion inhibitors].
Familiarity with local water treatment regulations and standards.
Existing network of contacts within the water treatment industry.
