We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive - Agri Business to drive sales, expand our customer base, and promote agricultural products/services. The ideal candidate should have experience in agricultural sales, a strong understanding of farming products, and the ability to build relationships with farmers, dealers, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the agricultural sector.
Achieve sales targets through direct selling, dealer management, and institutional sales.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, trends, and competitors.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and agro-input retailers.
Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on benefits and usage.
Address customer queries and provide post-sales support.
Marketing & Promotions:
Participate in agricultural exhibitions, farmer meetings, and promotional campaigns.
Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional activities.
Gather feedback from customers and suggest improvements in products/services.
Operations & Reporting:
Maintain accurate sales records and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports.
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
Collect and analyze sales data to improve strategies.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field.
0-1 years of experience in agricultural sales (fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, animal feed, farm machinery, etc.).
Strong knowledge of agricultural products, market trends, and farmer needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel extensively to rural and semi-urban areas.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Hindi/local language proficiency is an advantage.
