DTP Operator

ob Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled STP Operator to join our team. The STP Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and monitoring of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to ensure effective treatment of wastewater and compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant systems, including pumps, motors, compressors, and other equipment, to ensure the proper treatment of wastewater.

• Conduct regular inspections of treatment processes, including pre-treatment, primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment stages.

• Monitor flow rates, chemical dosages, and other operational parameters to maintain optimal system performance.

• Adjust equipment settings and chemical additions as necessary to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Collect and analyze water samples for testing and perform routine laboratory tests to ensure the treated water meets quality standards.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of plant operations, equipment status, and treatment data.

• Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and repairing machinery.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or operational issues to management and assist in troubleshooting and repairs.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding wastewater treatment and disposal.

• Monitor and control the discharge of treated water, ensuring it meets legal and environmental standards.

• Implement and follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

• Respond to emergency situations, including plant shutdowns or system failures, to restore operations promptly.

• Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response and maintenance plans.
