Job Description: Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting and financial tasks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GST Compliance:

   • Handle GST filings, including GST R1.

   • Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST returns.

2. Tax Management:

   • Manage advance tax payments.

   • File TDS returns and process timely tax payments.

3. Banking Operations:

   • Perform online banking activities.

   • Oversee bulk payment transfers with precision.

4. Invoicing and Record Keeping:

   • Generate and manage invoices.

   • Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

5. Accounting Software:

   • Utilize Tally software for accounting tasks and reporting.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Tally software.

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other taxation processes.

• Hands-on experience with online banking and bulk payment transfers.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Educational Background:

• Graduation, Postgraduation degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in GST or Tally will be an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
