Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in any version of Tally software. The ideal candidate should have 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on experience in managing day-to-day accounts, financial reporting, and compliance in any reputed firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records using Tally (any version)

Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and client payments

Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and reconciliations

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes

Manage GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliances

Monitor cash flow and maintain petty cash accounts

Prepare invoices and track payments

Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits

Ensure timely banking transactions and reconciliations

Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1.5 to 2 years of dedicated experience in accounting in any firm

Proficiency in Tally software (ERP 9, Prime, or any other version)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and other taxations

Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Experience in the travel industry

Knowledge of accounting automation tools or ERP systems besides Tally

Familiarity with income tax filings and compliance
