We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial discipline across the organization with a strong focus on inventory tracking, ledger management, payment processing, and tax compliance. This role requires someone who can ensure financial accuracy and help keep the business operations in check, rather than just handling day-to-day invoicing tasks.
Monitor and manage inventory records and reconcile them with accounting ledgers.
Maintain and update general ledgers and ensure timely posting of all financial transactions.
Oversee vendor and customer payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to credit terms.
Track and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare monthly reconciliation reports of bank accounts and ledgers.
Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory filings are done accurately and on time.
Work closely with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent discrepancies or financial leakages.
Assist management in budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling company financials.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Solid understanding of inventory management, ledgers, and taxation.
Proficient in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
Experience in e-commerce or retail sector.
Prior experience working with ERP/accounting integrations.
Familiarity with inventory tools or systems (e.g., Zoho Inventory, QuickBooks Commerce).
