We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day accounting operations, manage financial records, process transactions, and support the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely processing of transactions.

• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.

• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and general ledgers.

• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.

• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including filing, data entry, and document management.

• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.

• Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and other stakeholders related to accounts.

• Support the preparation and filing of financial documents and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping (entry-level candidates may be considered).

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
