Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team in managing daily accounting tasks. This role will involve working closely with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions related to mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions related to equipment purchases, fuel consumption, and site expenses

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes

• Maintain general ledger and assist with account reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures

• Assist with audits and tax filings

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare reports related to cost tracking and inventory used in mining operations

• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data for analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 1–2 years of accounting experience.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficient in MS Excel , MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Good communication and organizational skills.
