JD Account’s Head
Job Purpose: The Account’s Head oversees the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, financial analysis, team management, risk management, quality control, and overseeing the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments. Additionally, the Account’s Head ensures effective management of the Customer Care department's ledger updating and payment follow-up processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
o Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
o Ensure transparency and clarity in financial reporting to facilitate informed decision-making by senior management.
2. Budgeting:
o Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
o Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
3. Auditing:
o Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and timely resolution of audit findings.
o Implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
4. Financial Analysis:
o Conduct financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and forecasting.
o Provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
5. Team Management:
o Lead and manage the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.
o Set clear goals and objectives, provide guidance, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high performance and accountability.
6. Risk Management:
o Identify and assess financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
o Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies to minimize exposure to risks.
7. Quality Control and Audit:
o Oversee quality control processes related to financial operations, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.
o Conduct periodic audits of financial transactions and processes to verify accuracy and compliance.
8. Accounts Receivable Department - Billing and Collection:
o Supervise billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoicing.
o Monitor accounts receivable aging and oversee collection efforts to minimize overdue accounts.
9. Accounts Payable Department - Payments and Expenses:
o Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and expenses.
o Review and approve payment requests, ensuring compliance with payment terms and budgetary constraints.
10. Customer Care Department - Ledger Updating and Payment Follow-Up:
o Supervise the customer care team in updating customer accounts and maintaining accurate ledger records.
o Oversee payment follow-up activities, ensuring prompt resolution of outstanding invoices and disputes
